Top ten health remedies

Having remedies on hand when you are not feeling well is a great way to help boost the immune system.

Important: It is always a good idea to check with your doctor before consuming any of the following remedies.

Here are my top 10 remedies I have found to be most effective:

  1. Tiger nuts

Our ancient ancestors from between 2.4 million and 1.4 million years ago survived mainly on tiger nuts.

These are not your normal nut and come from grass tubers. They call it a tubular and it is high in minerals, vitamins, fatty acids, and fiber. Great for gut bacteria. It is a satisfying snack! Tastes nutty and sweet, hard and incredibly fibrous. Make sure not to eat too many at once or you might choke on the fiber.

You can also use them to make Horchata a famous drink in Spain, or grind them up to make powder to bake with.

  2. Shijalit

Found in the high mountain rocks like the Himalayas or Siberian mountains. Very high in humic and fulvic acids and 15-20% minerals including iron and selenium.

Mix with warm water or plant milk. Has an earthy taste to it.

  3. Tremella Mushroom

Great for improving skin health while enhancing immunity. Decreases inflammation and helps with cholesterol. Also very high in Vitamin D.

  4. Lions Mane Mushroom

Very good for the brain and decreases mental fatigue. Reduce anxiety and inflammation. Boosts the immune system.

  5. Broccoli Sprouts

Helps the body produce Glutathione which is a natural antioxidant in the body. You can also grow them from seed. They go very well in sandwiches, soups, salads, or even smoothies. Easy way to add an extra immune boost to your meals.

  6. Ashwagandha extract

Calms the nerves, a bit of a sedative without making you tired. Use it to calm yourself when you are high-strung by placing a few drops under your tongue, or if there is body or nerve pain you can also apply the liquid extract on the area that feels sensitive.

  7. Seabuckthorn seed oil

Amazing oil for healing. Helps with cuts and other injuries to heal faster. Very high in omega-7 and many other nutrients like Vitamins A, C, and E.

  8. Amla powder

Great for digestion issues. Best to place it in capsules for easier intake as the powder is very grainy when mixed with water. You can also add it to smoothies to disguise the texture.

  9. N-Acetyl-Cysteine

Helps increase levels of glutathione in the body. Also helps to loosen thick mucus.

  10. Romaine Lettuce

Helps build up white blood cells which fight off infection. High in minerals and packed with vitamin C and K.
